Marinara sauce next to pasta dish

What You Need:

    • ½ Jar of Germano’s Marinara
    • 32-40 Meat-filled or cheese filled tortellini
    • 4 oz Heavy whipping cream,
    • 1 cup Shredded Italian cheese blend
    • 1 bunch Fresh parsley
    • 4 oz Freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

Instructions

Step 1:

While water is coming to a boil, bring sauce to a low simmer over low to medium heat. Cook tortellini according to timed instructions, depending on the brand.

Step 2:

Turn off the heat to the boiling water, and using a spider strainer, transfer the Tortellini directly to the sauce (do not drain the pasta). Stir into the sauce. Add heavy whipping cream and shredded cheese.  Stir together and let stand for one minute.

Step 3:

Add pasta to each plate and sprinkle with Parmigiano and garnish with fresh parsley.
